Depuis l'an de [[1915 en football|1915]], l'[[Empire chérifien]] a connue trois associations sportives d'organisme footballistique, dont la [[Ligue du Maroc de Football Association]] ''(LMFA)'' fut la dernière, et qui s'est institué le {{date-|26 novembre 1922}} à [[Casablanca]], lors d'une assemblée générale constitutive<ref name="agc">{{article |langue=FR |auteur1= |titre=Ligue Marocaine - Deuxième Assemblé générale constitutive du 30 décembre 1922, à Casablanca|périodique=Football et sports |volume=5-3 |numéro=173 |jour=19 |mois=01 |année=1923 |pages=2209 |lire en ligne= }}. Elle on a prit donc la conduite d'organe footballistique sous la '''Fédération Marocaine des Sports Athlétiques''' ''(FMSA)'', fédération sportive créée en 1913 d'après le [[Dahir|dahir chérifien]] du {{date-|{{1er}} février 1913}}[[http://www.sgg.gov.ma/BO/bo_ar/1913/BO_1_ar.PDF Le Dahir Chérifien du premier février 1913]] est a remplacée le ''Comité Régional de Football'' d{{'}}''Union des Sociétés et Fédérations des Sports Athlétiques'' (''USFSA'') pour la gestion du football. Une deuxième Assemblée avait lieu le {{date-|30 décembre}}, toujours à Casablanca, en présence des clubs affiliés à la ''Comité Régional de Football d'USFSA''<ref name="agc">; sont représentés les vingt clubs affiliés régulièrement ainsi qu'aux trois clubs en instance d'affiliation à la ''[[FIFA|3FA]]''. Lors de cette assemblée le siège est fixé à Casablanca.
